Day 1: Transfer from Batumi airport to Batumi
We will transfer from the airport to the hotel with the assistance of our guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey.

Day 2: Batumi and surroundings
After enjoying a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, we will dedicate the morning to connecting with the cultural roots of the region at the Batumi Ethnographic Museum. This unique space will captivate us with its impressive wood carvings and recreations celebrating the soul and traditional customs of Georgia. Later, we will head south to explore the historic Gonio Fortress, an ancient Roman bastion from the 1st century. We will stroll among ruins that whisper stories of the Silk Road and sacred legends, such as the supposed location of the tomb of the Apostle Matthias. To close the day, we will return to the heart of the city to explore downtown Batumi, wandering through the charming streets of the old town and strolling along its iconic coastal Boulevard.

Day 3: Batumi - Martvili - Prometheus - Kutaisi
After enjoying breakfast and leaving behind the sea breeze of Batumi, we will head toward the green heart of Georgia for a day dedicated to the spectacular nature of Imereti. Our first stop will be the impressive Martvili Canyon, a place that seems straight out of a fairy tale, where water has sculpted the rock for millennia. We will walk along its trails surrounded by virgin forest and, if weather and river conditions are favorable, we will have the privilege of navigating its turquoise waters by boat, approaching its vibrant waterfalls. The adventure continues as we plunge into the depths of the earth at the famous Prometheus Cave. There we will traverse a labyrinth of underground halls decorated with majestic stalactites and stalagmites. With our eyes full of unforgettable landscapes, we will end our journey arriving at the historic city of Kutaisi.

Day 4: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia - Khertvisi - Tbilisi
Today we will begin the day exploring the majestic Vardzia, an extraordinary 12th-century rock-hewn monastery city that will transport us to the past. We will venture into its labyrinthine tunnels to discover unique medieval frescoes and visit its ancient wine cellars, witnesses to the millennial winemaking tradition of the area. We will continue our route to the imposing Khertvisi Fortress, one of the oldest fortifications in Georgia, strategically located in the Samtskhe-Javakheti valley. Finally, we will head toward Tbilisi to conclude the day. We will cross dreamlike landscapes dominated by the imposing mountains of the Lesser Caucasus.

Day 5: Tbilisi - Guided tour
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our cultural immersion on the vibrant Rustaveli Avenue, the beating heart of Tbilisi. On this elegant boulevard, we will admire architectural gems such as the imposing Parliament and the neo-Moorish Opera Theatre, as well as the distinctive Rustaveli Theatre and the beautiful Kashveti Church. Our tour will then take us to Metekhi Square, where the historic church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali will offer privileged views over the Mtkvari River. The experience will reach new heights as we take the cable car up to Narikala Fortress, the ancient defensive citadel from the 4th century that offers the best panoramic views of the capital. We will then venture into the picturesque Abanotubani district, world-famous for its historic sulfur baths. Finally, we will conclude this unforgettable day visiting the Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest church in the city.

Day 6: Tbilisi - Jvari - Svetitskhoveli - Kazbegi - Gudauri
We will leave Tbilisi for a deep immersion into the country's spiritual history. Our first stop will be at Jvari Monastery, a 6th-century gem situated atop a mountain, from where we will enjoy the iconic view of the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Next, we will descend to the ancient capital, Mtskheta, to visit the grandiose Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. This temple, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is considered the sacred heart of Georgia. We will resume the route north through the panoramic Georgian Military Highway until reaching Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). There, the highlight will be the ascent to the Gergeti Trinity Church, which stands alone facing the imposing peak of Mount Kazbek. After enjoying this postcard-perfect landscape, we will head to the mountain resort of Gudauri for the night.

Day 7: Gudauri - Uplistsikhe - Gori - Kutaisi
Our day begins by immersing ourselves in the pages of contemporary history visiting the famous Stalin Museum in the city of Gori. This unique complex offers a singular perspective on the Soviet leader, allowing us to explore from the humble house where he was born to his luxurious armored personal train car. We will take a leap back in time of more than three millennia to discover Uplistsikhe, a fascinating cave city masterfully carved into living rock. We will walk through the ancient streets of this extraordinary archaeological site, a true open-air museum where pagan temples and Christian basilicas coexist. The adventure continues exploring its mysterious secret tunnels and rock dwellings.

Day 8: Kutaisi - Ushguli - Mestia
Today an epic day awaits us, ascending toward the highest peaks of Europe. From Kutaisi, we will embark on the journey to the remote Svaneti region until reaching Ushguli, recognized as one of the highest inhabited settlements on the continent (2,200 meters). This group of villages, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, seems frozen in time with its dozens of medieval defensive towers. There, under the imposing shadow of Mount Shkhara, the highest peak in Georgia, we will walk trails that bring us close to the base of its glacier and share moments with locals who keep the ancient Svan culture alive. We will breathe the pure air of the high mountains and marvel at breathtaking landscapes before descending slightly to end our day in the main town of the region, Mestia, surrounded by history and wild nature.

Day 9: Mestia - Zugdidi - Dendrological Park - Batumi
We will leave behind the majesty of the snow-capped peaks and defensive towers of Mestia to embark on a spectacular descent from the Greater Caucasus. The winding road will treat us to unforgettable views of deep gorges and powerful rivers until we reach the fertile plains of the Samegrelo region, passing through its capital, Zugdidi. As we approach the coast, we will make an essential stop at the Shekvetili Dendrological Park. This unique space is a biodiversity sanctuary where we will walk among gigantic centuries-old trees. We will explore its diverse microclimates, crossing bamboo forests and observing exotic fauna like lemurs and pink flamingos roaming free. About this trip

South, East and North
From the coast, we will travel south to see the cave city of Vardzia. We will cross east to explore the capital, Tbilisi, and climb north along the Military Highway toward the snows of Kazbegi. But the adventure doesn't end there; the trip includes an expedition northwest to the remote and spectacular region of Svaneti.

In Svaneti, we will visit Mestia and the village of Ushguli, surrounded by glaciers and defensive towers. The return to the coast will allow us to rest after the adventure.
