DAY 1: Transfer from Kutaisi Airport to Kutaisi
We will transfer from the airport to the hotel with the assistance of our guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey.

DAY 2: Kutaisi - Bagrati - Motsameta - Gelati - Nikortminda - Kutaisi
Our cultural exploration begins in Kutaisi, first visiting the majestic Bagrati Cathedral. From its privileged hilltop location, we will visually dominate the entire city before moving to Motsameta Monastery, dramatically located on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Tskaltsitela River. Nearby, the Gelati Academy awaits, a UNESCO World Heritage complex. Later, we will venture into the picturesque Racha region to visit Nikortsminda Cathedral, renowned for the intricate beauty of its stone reliefs.

DAY 3: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia - Khertvisi - Tbilisi
We will explore the majestic Vardzia, an extraordinary 12th-century rock-hewn monastery city. We will enter its labyrinthine tunnels to discover unique medieval frescoes. We continue to the imposing Khertvisi Fortress, one of Georgia's oldest fortifications. Finally, we head to Tbilisi crossing landscapes dominated by the Lesser Caucasus mountains.

DAY 4: Tbilisi - Guided Tour
We begin on the vibrant Rustaveli Avenue, admiring architectural gems such as Parliament, the Opera House, and Kashveti Church. We will visit Metekhi Square, take the cable car up to Narikala Fortress, explore the Abanotubani district with its historic sulfur baths, and conclude by visiting Anchiskhati Basilica, the city's oldest church.

DAY 5: Tbilisi - Ananuri - Kazbegi - Tbilisi
We will visit the imposing Ananuri Fortress, with panoramic views over the turquoise waters of Zhinvali Reservoir. We continue north to discover the emblematic Gergeti Trinity Church, majestically rising at 2,170 meters under the watchful gaze of Mount Kazbegi.

DAY 8: Batumi - Surroundings

About this trip
Experience "Total Georgia" on a 10-day journey from Kutaisi that connects the eastern peaks with those of the west. Unlike other tours, this itinerary includes the ascent to Kazbegi in the north, offering a complete vision of the Greater Caucasus mountain range.
South and East
The journey begins visiting the treasures of Kutaisi and descending south towards Vardzia and Rabati. In Tbilisi, we will explore the capital before taking the Georgian Military Highway to Kazbegi, where Gergeti church awaits us with impressive views.
West and Sea
The return west includes stops at the cave city of Uplistsikhe and the city of Gori. In the Imereti and Samegrelo regions, we will explore Okatse Canyon with its suspended walkways and Martvili Canyon. We will finish relaxing on the coast of Batumi before returning to Kutaisi. A dynamic journey covering the country's most iconic points, from monasteries to glaciers and the sea.
