DAY 1: Transfer from Kutaisi Airport to Kutaisi

DAY 2: Kutaisi - Bagrati - Motsameta - Gelati - Nikortsminda - Kutaisi

Our cultural exploration begins in Kutaisi, first visiting the majestic Bagrati Cathedral. From its privileged position on the hill, we will visually dominate the entire city before moving to the Motsameta Monastery, dramatically located on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Tskaltsitela River, offering an atmosphere of deep spirituality and moving landscapes. Nearby, the Gelati Academy awaits us, a complex declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that guards invaluable frescoes and the history of the Georgian Golden Age. Later, we will venture into the picturesque Racha region to visit Nikortsminda Cathedral, a masterpiece of ecclesiastical architecture, world-renowned for the intricate beauty of its stone reliefs and magnificent decorated interiors.

DAY 3: Kutaisi - Sataplia - Prometheus Cave - Kutaisi

Today we will dedicate the day to discovering the geological and prehistoric treasures of Imereti on a circular route. We will start at the Sataplia Nature Reserve, a fascinating place where we will walk alongside authentic dinosaur footprints from the Cretaceous period. In addition to its karst cave, we will climb to the famous glass viewpoint, offering dizzying panoramic views of Kutaisi and the surrounding mountains. We will continue our spelunking adventure heading to the nearby Prometheus Cave, one of the largest underground systems in Georgia. We will marvel at the artistic lighting of its rock formations and, whenever hydrological conditions are favorable, we will boat ride through the river flowing in its depths.

DAY 4: Kutaisi - Okatse - Martvili - Batumi

We will leave Kutaisi behind to venture into the lush nature of western Georgia. Our first stop will be in the Imereti region to explore Okatse Canyon. There we will experience a dizzying adventure walking along its famous walkway suspended over the abyss, enjoying unparalleled views of the deep gorge and virgin forest. Later, we will move to the Samegrelo region to discover the magic of Martvili Canyon. This place seems straight out of a fairy tale, with its intense turquoise waters and dense vegetation. If water levels permit, we will take a relaxing boat ride along the Abasha River, navigating between moss-covered rock walls. After a day of total immersion in these natural jewels, we will descend to the Black Sea coast to end our route in the vibrant city of Batumi.
