DAY 1: Transfer from Tbilisi Airport to the capital

DAY 2: Tbilisi - Guided tour

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our cultural immersion on the vibrant Rustaveli Avenue, the beating heart of Tbilisi. On this elegant boulevard, we will admire architectural gems such as the imposing Parliament and the neo-Moorish Opera Theatre, as well as the distinctive Rustaveli Theatre and the beautiful Kashveti Church. Our tour will then take us to Metekhi Square, where the historic church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali will offer us privileged views over the Mtkvari River. The experience will reach new heights as we ascend by cable car to Narikala Fortress, the ancient 4th-century defensive citadel that offers the best panoramic views of the capital. Later, we will enter the picturesque district of Abanotubani, known worldwide for its historic sulfur baths and the charm of its medieval streets. DAY 3: Tbilisi - David Gareja - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi

Today's route takes us to explore landscapes of amazing contrasts, starting with a journey to the semi-desert landscape to discover the David Gareja Monastery. This extraordinary 6th-century complex, carved into the rock of the hills, will offer us a unique vision of the arid environment and its troglodyte architecture, immersing us in the history of the Assyrian fathers in a place of great mysticism. Leaving the desert behind, we will head to the greenery of the Kakheti region to visit the sacred Bodbe Monastery. At this place of pilgrimage, where Saint Nino rests, we will enjoy an atmosphere of peace and admire the impressive views over the Alazani Valley. The day culminates in the charming Sighnaghi, popularly known as the "City of Love". We will stroll through its cobbled streets admiring its traditional architecture and extensive defensive walls. From here, the panoramic views of the valley with the backdrop of the Caucasus mountains are simply unforgettable. After enjoying the beauty of this picturesque town, we will return to Tbilisi.

DAY 4: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Uplistsikhe - Gori - Kutaisi

We will leave Tbilisi behind to first visit the ancient capital and religious center of Georgia, Mtskheta. There we will explore its UNESCO World Heritage treasures: the panoramic Jvari Monastery and the sacred Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Next, we will travel through ancient history in Uplistsikhe, an impressive rock-hewn city from the Iron Age where we will walk among caves and temples carved into sandstone. Our next stop will be in the nearby city of Gori, where we will visit the Stalin Museum to learn about the birthplace and career of the Soviet leader. Finally, we will continue our journey westward, entering the legendary land of Colchis, until we reach Kutaisi.

DAY 5: Kutaisi - Bagrati - Motsameta - Gelati - Nikortsminda - Kutaisi

Our cultural exploration begins in Kutaisi, first visiting the majestic Bagrati Cathedral. From its privileged location on the hill, we will visually dominate the entire city before moving to a place of spectacular geography: the Motsameta Monastery. Dramatically located on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Tskaltsitela River, this sanctuary offers an atmosphere of deep spirituality and moving landscapes. A short distance away, the Gelati Academy awaits us, a complex declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that guards invaluable frescoes and the history of the Georgian Golden Age. DAY 6: Kutaisi - Prometheus Cave - Martvili - Batumi

We will begin the day descending into the depths of the earth in the spectacular Prometheus Cave, located very close to Kutaisi. We will tour its immense halls decorated with millennia-old stalactites and stalagmites, enhanced by artistic lighting and classical music, and if the underground water level permits, we will experience the unique adventure of exiting the cave by boat along its hidden river. Next, the adventure continues on the surface as we visit the Martvili Canyon. In this dreamlike corner of the Samegrelo region, turquoise-colored water and subtropical vegetation create an unforgettable landscape. If the water level is adequate, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Abasha River and walk along paths surrounded by waterfalls. Finally, with cameras full of spectacular photos, we will head to the coast to end our day in the modern and lively city of Batumi.
