DAY 1: Transfer from Batumi airport to Batumi

We will transfer from the airport to the hotel with the assistance of our guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey.

DAY 2: Batumi - Martvili - Prometheus - Kutaisi

After enjoying breakfast and leaving behind the sea breeze of Batumi, we will head towards the green heart of Georgia. Our first stop will be the impressive Martvili Canyon, a place that seems straight out of a fairy tale, where water has sculpted the rock for millennia. We will walk along its trails surrounded by virgin forest and, if weather permits, we will sail on boats through its turquoise waters. The adventure will continue as we descend into the depths of the earth in the famous Prometheus Cave. There we will explore a labyrinth of underground halls decorated with majestic stalactites and stalagmites and, if conditions permit, we will complete the experience with a boat ride on the interior river. We will end our journey arriving at the historic city of Kutaisi.

DAY 3: Kutaisi - Bagrati - Motsameta - Gelati - Nikortsminda - Kutaisi

Our cultural exploration begins in Kutaisi, first visiting the majestic Bagrati Cathedral. From its privileged location on the hill, we will visually dominate the entire city before moving to Motsameta Monastery. Dramatically located on a rocky promontory surrounded by the Tskaltsitela River, this sanctuary offers an atmosphere of deep spirituality. A short distance away, the Gelati Academy awaits us, a UNESCO World Heritage complex that guards invaluable frescoes and the history of the Georgian Golden Age. Later, we will enter the picturesque Racha region to visit Nikortsminda Cathedral, recognized worldwide for the intricate beauty of its stone reliefs. We will return to Kutaisi to conclude this day dedicated to sacred art.

DAY 4: Kutaisi - Ushguli - Mestia

Today an epic day awaits us, ascending towards the highest peaks of Europe. From Kutaisi, we will journey to the remote Svaneti region until we reach Ushguli, recognized as one of the highest inhabited settlements on the continent (2,200 meters). This group of villages, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, seems frozen in time with its dozens of medieval defensive towers. There, under the imposing shadow of Mount Shkhara, Georgia's highest peak, we will walk along trails that bring us close to the base of its glacier and share moments with locals who keep the ancient Svan culture alive. We will end our day in Mestia, surrounded by history and wild nature.

DAY 5: Mestia - Chalaadi - Hatsvali - Mestia

We will start the day in Mestia with an immersion in wild nature, heading towards the Chalaadi Glacier. We will cross the bridge over the Mestiachala River and walk along a trail that crosses forests and moraines until we reach the base of the eternal ice. After this invigorating hike, we will move to the Hatsvali mountain station. If weather conditions are favorable, we will take the cable car to ascend to the Zuruldi ridge, a famous viewpoint that offers one of the most impressive panoramas of the region. From the top, we will admire the imposing silhouette of the mythical Mount Ushba with its two characteristic peaks, as well as the elegant Mount Tetnuldi. We will return to our accommodation in Mestia to rest.

DAY 6: Mestia - Zugdidi - Dendrological Park - Batumi

We will leave behind the majesty of the snow-capped peaks and defensive towers of Mestia to undertake a spectacular descent from the Greater Caucasus. The winding road will give us unforgettable views of deep gorges and mighty rivers until we reach the fertile plains of the Samegrelo region, passing through its capital, Zugdidi. We will make an essential stop at the Shekvetili Dendrological Park. This unique space is a biodiversity sanctuary where we will walk among giant, centuries-old trees. We will explore its diverse microclimates, crossing bamboo forests and observing exotic fauna such as lemurs and pink flamingos. We will end our trip arriving in Batumi, the pearl of the Black Sea.
