Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Batumi
Arrival at Batumi International Airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Free time for a first encounter with the coastal city. In the afternoon, optional walk along the Batumi Boulevard, the longest promenade on the Black Sea, where you can admire the Ali and Nino statue, the Georgian Alphabet Tower, and the modern architecture that characterizes this vibrant city. Accommodation in Batumi.
Day 2: Batumi - Martvili Canyon - Prometheus Cave - Kutaisi
Breakfast and departure to Martvili Canyon, a natural wonder where we will take a boat ride through the turquoise waters of the gorge, surrounded by waterfalls and lush vegetation. Continuation to Prometheus Cave, the largest cave in Georgia, with its impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations illuminated with colored lights. Option for a boat ride on the underground river. Arrival in Kutaisi, the second city of Georgia and former capital of the Kingdom of Colchis. Accommodation in Kutaisi.
Day 3: Kutaisi - Gelati Monastery - Okatse Canyon - Kutaisi
Breakfast and visit to Gelati Monastery, founded by King David the Builder in the 12th century, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monastic complex was the spiritual and scientific center of Georgia during the Middle Ages. Continuation to the spectacular Okatse Canyon, where we will walk along a suspended walkway over the abyss, enjoying impressive views of the canyon and surrounding mountains. Return to Kutaisi and visit Bagrati Cathedral, another UNESCO monument that dominates the city from atop a hill. Accommodation in Kutaisi.
Day 4: Kutaisi - Kinchkha Waterfall - Batumi
Breakfast and excursion to the impressive Kinchkha Waterfall, one of the highest in Georgia with its 100-meter drop. We will enjoy the mountainous landscape and pristine nature of the region. Return to Batumi crossing the subtropical landscapes of Guria and Adjara. Arrival in Batumi in the afternoon. Free time to explore the old town with its 19th-century buildings decorated with mythological figures, Europe Square, and Piazza Square. Accommodation in Batumi.
Day 5: Batumi - Botanical Garden - Departure
Breakfast and visit to the Batumi Botanical Garden, founded in 1880, the oldest and largest in the South Caucasus. Located on Cape Verde, it houses more than 2,000 plant species from around the world and offers spectacular views of the Black Sea. Walk through the garden enjoying its different climate zones: Mediterranean, Japanese, Australian, and subtropical. Transfer to Batumi airport for your return flight. End of services.
