Sataplia

La Reserva Natural de Sataplia debe su nombre a la tradición local de recolectar miel de las abejas que habitan en la ladera sur de la montaña. Sataplia significa “lugar de la miel”. El parque fue fundado en 1935 para proteger la cueva de Sataplia de casi un kilómetro de larga y las huellas de dinosaurios encontradas en la zona. Recientemente se ha construido un mirador con suelo de cristal que ofrece unas vistas impresionantes de la reserva natural, un Centro de Conservación, un Museo, una cafetería y otros servicios para los visitantes.
